Art is an expression and a realm that is beautiful and more than significant. It is created by an individual, and what that individual creates is beautiful to them. It is an expression of that person and through their masterpiece, their heart and soul is manifested.

Some pieces of art tell a story of love, pain, anger, fear and experiences. You may see the world through that persons eyes, the people they have met and places they have seen.

Art is therapeutic

Art therapy is proven to increase a persons wellbeing. Through art we can face life on life’s terms and make sense of why things happen. It is a great way to reduce stress and increase confidence.

Art therapy integrates psychotherapeutic techniques with the creative process to improve mental health and well-being. Art therapy describes art therapy as a way to improve mental health, emotional wellbeing and healing. Through art, people with disabilities can express themselves and gain new coping skills.

Through art we can see what is going on in the artist mind at that moment. Their emotions, thoughts and behavior comes through in their artwork.  

 You don’t need to be a professional artist or have experience to start an art project. There are no rules when it comes to creating and your work of art is unique and more than significant.
