CBD oil for chronic pain is probably gaining popularity as South Africa has legalized marijuana. This magical oil reduces pain, inflammation and increases appetite. CBD is a chemical found in the plant and it doesn’t make you stoned. There are oils that contain the chemical THC that makes you “high” – preferred by those in severe pain. Please note, not everyone has found relief from the oil, and it’s always best to run it by your medical doctor first before giving it a try.
HOW IT WORKS
Researchers believe that CBD interacts with receptors in the immune and brain functions. Receptors are minute proteins that are attached to your cells, receiving chemical signals from various stimuli, helping your cells to respond. This type of response creates anti-inflammatory and pain relief stimuli – beneficial for pain management.

“I use it because it’s safer and more effective than medications I’ve tried and comes in a number of useful preparations for all my needs. Apart from Fentanyl and Tramadol (which gives me night terrors), cannabis is the only thing that has helped relieve pain (nerve, muscular, surgical, etc). It has also been excellent for almost all of my other issues: insomnia, nausea, lack of appetite, depression/suicidal thoughts, anxiety, etc.”
WHAT ARE THE SIDE EFFECTS?
CBD oil doesn’t have any fatal side effects, but there are uncomfortable side effects for some:

“There are hundreds of cannabis strains. It is very important to know the difference and their effects. If you’re prone to anxiety, you do not want a strain that causes anxiety. If you’re constantly tired you do not want a strain that makes you tired. Do your research, ask questions.”
ARE THERE ANY WITHDRAWAL SYMPTOMS?
Very rarely are there any symptoms after you stop using it. There are far more addictive substances with severe withdrawal symptoms, such as Opioids.
Do not give CBD oil to Children under the age of 18, as it can affect the brains development.
