Charity for the Blind

Charity for the Blind

Charity for the blind is an uninhibited act of giving. You can give any many ways such as your time, money, products or education. The season of giving is just around the corner and you may have it in your heart to give to a charity for the blind.

If you would like to give to a charity, feel free to visit our training center in Roodepoort and see for yourself.

If you would like to volunteer, we are open to working with individuals, business owners and other organizations. It takes a village to raise a child and to better the community.

The gift of giving to the blind and disabled is very rewarding. It’s a glorious sight to see this overlooked group of people happy and smiling. Not only is it good for the person receiving but also healthy for the giver. Studies show that those who give have healthy lives.

Whether you are mentoring, volunteering or donating money to charity, these are all healthy acts for all involved.  You will feel good and your physical and mental health with get a positive boost.

Donating is a selfless act and it is always positive when we give. You will gain a greater sense of achievement and growth – it feels good. Instead of wasting money on those extra Christmas favors that will be thrown away – donate the money to a charity.

Action for the Blind and Disabled Children give by offering free computer skills, pottery classes and call center training. We need all the help we can get with regards to learnership programmes for our students and assistive technology.
