Skills Training in South Africa for learners with disabilities

Skills Training in South Africa for learners with disabilities is important for society as a whole.  It is important for economic growth among people who have a disability such as blindness, deafness or physical impairments.  These groups of people require attention so that they can benefit from education, training and employment opportunities.

Groups that are overlooked are:

Disadvantaged youth with disabilities

People with disabilities in rural areas

Skills training in South Africa for learners with disabilities is best when there is internships and business skills included.  Training for the disabled offers a chance for employers to add diversity to the workplace.  People living with disabilities also need to know their rights.

People with disabilities require modified devices and accommodation within their working environment.

People living with disabilities also need to know that there are specific laws which protect them.

Disabled people require modified devices. Look for modified computers, adjustable desks, microphones and headsets, and automatic lights that can make the life of a disabled person easier while they are studying.
